Congressman Neal Dunn, M.D. (Florida-02) released the following statement regarding the House’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
“Americans need help paying their bills, not more failed policies that drive up costs,” said Congressman Dunn. “Today’s vote proves how out-of-touch Democrats are with hardworking Americans. I’ve spoken with Florida farmers, small business owners, and seniors in my district, and they are struggling with high gas prices, expensive grocery bills, and supply chain shortages. Spending more on radical climate initiatives and expanding the IRS is not an effective way to combat inflation.”

Hello,
My name is Katie Knight, and I am running for School Board District 1.
I have lived in Madison County for almost 20 years and have 2 amazing children Chase and Calli. I am a
successful entrepreneur with 2 local businesses. I have budgeting, personnel, and leadership skills. I have
volunteered in the schools and community in various roles my entire time as a Madison County resident. I
am connected to the kids and teacher’s needs as I currently serve as a volunteer, mentor, coach, and youth
leader to many kids of the community.
My heart and passion for the kids and community, along with my business experience is what I think will
make me a successful board member. I want to see every student in Madison County be successful and our
teachers get what they deserve. If elected I will stand up for what’s right and make decisions based on what
is best for the community as a whole and will not serve anyone’s person agenda.

My name is Devin K. Thompson, and I am running for Madison County School Board District 5. I was born and raised in Madison County and my husband, Matt and I have been married for 14 years. We have four amazing children, Tristen, Brayson, Trever, and Brynlee.
After working for the Madison County School system, I left in 2020 to pursue a career in social work, where I serve families with children every day. In addition to my professional life, I also regularly serve in various volunteer roles.
My love for the community, my current and previous work experience, and my desire to work hard to ensure that EVERY student in this county has the best education possible is what I believe will make me an exceptional board member.
